The Robert Gordon University Gaming Society is a group who get together every week to play the latest and greatest console and computer games. We have a growing friendly group of members who enjoy both types of gaming who meet at 3.45pm every Wednesday at the first floor bar of the student union.We normally play console games every Wednesday between 4pm and 8pm but the location of our gaming this year has not yet been confirmed. It's likely to be in the Training Room on the 3rd floor in the union.
This year we will also be expanding the society to include more PC gaming which was previously run by the Attic LAN group outside of the university. We hope to run monthly 12hr LANs in the union, as well as keeping close ties to the Attic LAN Group for longer LAN's else where.
We will hope to be making some visits to Café LAN on Market Street this year for shorter gaming, the cost of these visits will hopefully be subsidised and more information we be available as soon as we can confirm this.
